300 units signed, 100 units delivered! XCMG New Energy Heavy Trucks accelerate their expansion in Thailand

Recently, XCMG signed a purchase agreement with Thailand’s leading dealer OCR for 300 new energy commercial vehicles in Bangkok, with the first batch of 100 already delivered. Xia Yongyong, Deputy General Manager of XCMG Group and Party Secretary and General Manager of XCMG Motors, attended the ceremony.

This strategic cooperation between XCMG and OCR isn’t just about selling vehicles; it covers the full lifecycle value management including technical services, spare parts supply, and financial support. This means XCMG is integrating its local service network and parts support system to help users reduce operating costs and improve vehicle uptime.

Deep Cultivation: Building Long-Term Value Through Full-Cycle Services
In 2005, XCMG’s first piece of equipment arrived at a port in Thailand, planting the seed of cooperation with OCR.

In June 2025, Chairman Yang Dongsheng attended the 20th-anniversary celebration of the XCMG-OCR partnership. Through deep integration of “products and scenarios,” both parties are working together to promote the green transformation of Thailand’s construction machinery industry, jointly creating a new ecosystem for sustainable development.

In Southeast Asia, XCMG has already set up a comprehensive service network and spare parts warehouses. This upgrade from “selling products” to “full lifecycle service” is exactly why OCR chose to partner with XCMG to expand in the transportation market.

Tackling Challenges: Using Technical Strength to Secure the Southeast Asian Market
Thailand is a logistics hub in Southeast Asia and is now entering an accelerated phase of green transportation transformation. However, the local hot and humid climate, combined with the complex conditions of trunk logistics, mining material transport, and urban construction transport, presents challenges for new energy commercial vehicles that far exceed those in ordinary markets.

As a veteran player in Thailand’s local commercial vehicle sector, OCR actively guides traditional fleets toward green transformation. XCMG Auto is a leading Chinese new energy commercial vehicle company, with sales of new energy heavy trucks ranking first in the industry for three consecutive years. With a mature localized service network and a good reputation among users, along with excellent product safety, reliability, and economy, it has truly earned OCR’s recognition.

Relying on XCMG’s independently developed core technologies for electric, electronic, and intelligent systems, combined with overseas-specific vehicle tuning and high-quality control, XCMG’s products maintain stability and economy in actual operations under high temperatures, high humidity, and complex road conditions, gradually becoming a model for local green transport capacity.

Currently, the demand for new energy commercial vehicles in Thailand is picking up speed.

In the process of the global green and low-carbon transition in transportation, XCMG’s new energy commercial vehicles have shifted from being just product providers to becoming creators of value. XCMG plans to use this collaboration as a leverage point to roll out their ‘product + scenario’ integrated solutions to more countries and regions.
